They usually issue you a new card and send it by USPS mail within 10-15 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Documents Required<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Original SSN Card<\/strong> &#8211; Existing SSN card.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Proof of Immigration status<\/strong> (Anyone) &#8211; You should submit the green card as proof since you are applying for the removal of conditions on your SSN card.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Permanent Resident Card<\/strong>&nbsp;(I-551), Green Card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Arrival\/Departure Record<\/strong>&nbsp;(I-94), along with unexpired foreign passport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Admission stamp<\/strong>&nbsp;in an unexpired foreign passport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Employment Authorization Document<\/strong>&nbsp;(I-766), work permit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ID proof<\/strong> (Anyone) &#8211; Use your driver&#8217;s license here if you are using a Green card as proof of Immigration status. They would need a different document to prove the ID that&#8217;s not the same as Proof of Immigration status.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Permanent Resident Card<\/strong>&nbsp;(I-551), Green Card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Employment Authorization Document<\/strong>&nbsp;(I-766), work permit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>U.S. driver&#8217;s license<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>or non-driver&#8217;s state-issued ID<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are applying to remove the condition from the Child under <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">the age of 18 <\/span><\/strong>(0-17 years), you can visit the SSN office without the child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will need to carry any (1) document from these to prove the <strong>child&#8217;s Identity<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Permanent Resident Card<\/strong>&nbsp;(I-551), Green Card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Employment Authorization Document<\/strong>&nbsp;(I-766), work permit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Foreign passport<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Non-driver&#8217;s state-issued ID<\/strong>&nbsp;or driver&#8217;s license<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Medical records<\/strong>&nbsp;from a clinic, doctor, or hospital.
