Do you have a small business website and want to create a custom email domain like we have one contact AT AM22Tech.com? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multiple web hosting providers provide custom domain email services for a small fee. Even Google has a workspace option but charges a hefty $8 per month per user. Google does provide 15GB of space for each as part of the workspace account and includes Gmail, Drive, and other Google account features out of the box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your business only needs the email feature and that too free of cost, the best reliable option that we have tried and found to be easy to set up is Yahoo Mail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set up Custom Business Email – Free with Yahoo Email<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yahoo mail gives you 1 TB of space and allows you to use it with your custom domain to receive and send email automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Users will send and receive the email from a custom business email address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will use these addresses as email addresses as an example for the setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#1 Create a new email address at Yahoo mail<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you already have a Yahoo email that you want to use, you can skip to the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Otherwise, create a new Yahoo mail account<\/a>. We have already created a new Yahoo mail address as contact.truvisa@yahoo.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#2 Create Cloudflare account<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may have to create a custom website account if you do not have an existing account for your custom domain here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#3 Create Email routing at Cloudflare<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cloudflare provides a free custom email forwarding service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In simple words, we will receive emails sent to custom email on Cloudflare and forward them to Yahoo mail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means any email received on contact@truvisa.com<\/strong> will be forwarded to contact.truvisa@yahoo.com<\/strong> automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to Cloudflare account->Email Routing<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the ‘Routing Rules’ tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click ‘Create Address’ under ‘Custom Addresses’. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Save.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. If you are prompted by Cloudflare to add email DNS records, click yes and add them. Cloudflare will automatically add these.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. If you are not prompted by Cloudflare to add email DNS records, then go to the next step and we will guide you on what to add.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    #3.A. Verify Yahoo email address<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Cloudflare will send a verification email to your Yahoo account i.e. contact.truvisa@yahoo.com<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You should wait for this email and verify before going to the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    #4 Create Email DNS records at Cloudflare<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    These are important. The email forwarding will not work without these records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Create these DNS records in your Account->DNS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    #5 Set Custom Email Address at Yahoo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Visit your Yahoo mailbox -> Settings -> Mail Boxes<\/strong> -> Add a new email<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Here, use your custom email address that you want users to see when you reply or send emails through your Yahoo mailbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Example: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The email you set here will be shown as a ‘From’ address to receivers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This means that even though we will be sending or replying to emails from our contact.truvisa@yahoo.com <\/strong>account, Yahoo will replace the sender address with contact@truvisa.com<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t \r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\n\n\n

    Yahoo will send a verification email to the contact@truvisa.com<\/strong> email address. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This email should end up in your contact.truvisa@yahoo.com<\/strong> email mailbox as Cloudflare DNS will forward it to your Yahoo account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Once you verify, you can use this Yahoo email mailbox to send and receive custom emails free of cost!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    #6 Test email<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Write an email from your Yahoo Email Box to anyone like your own Gmail address and select the sender as your custom business domain email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Check your Gmail and verify the sender’s address. Here is what it should look like in Gmail:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    That’s it. Enjoy the 1 TB email space for your custom domain email address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The same setup can be done for Gmail as well but it does not allow you to use the custom sender address as easily as Yahoo does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
