Canada PR step by step process. You can follow this sequence to start your Canadian permanent residency application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#1 IELTS English Exam<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The first step is to take an English language<\/a> exam. IELTS is most common and is easily available around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    #2 Education Assessment – ECA <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    ECA is Education Credential Assessment. It is done by multiple organizations (WES <\/a> is one of them) and provides you the Canadian equivalent degree assessment of your native country’s education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Education assessment can take anywhere between 6 to 8 weeks.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Cost of ECA is approximately CAD $285 (200 CAD Fee + 85 CAD International Result Delivery).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    #3 Create Express Entry profile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    ‘Express entry’ is the name of the online system used by Canadian immigration for filing PR applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Creating an application in Express entry system<\/a> enters you in the pool of candidates waiting for the ITA (Invitation to Apply Canada PR). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Make sure all the information mentioned in your online profile is accurate as you will be asked to provide proof of all that information once you are selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Cost of creating Express Entry profile is $0. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you have hired an agent<\/a> to help you create the express entry, they might charge hefty fees. If you can do it yourself, it is free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Wait for CIC Draw and Invite<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Canadian immigration runs a draw called ROI (Rounds of Invitation) every 3\u20134 weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Canadian govt declares the minimum cut-off score (CRS points)<\/a> for each draw. All the express entry profiles having the same or more than the draw score will get an invite to apply PR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This invite is called invitation to apply<\/strong> (ITA). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The score varies in each draw and is usually set at a number that is enough to invite 2800\u20133500 applicants quota per draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    #4 ITA – 60 Days to Submit Documents<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Once you receive an invite (ITA), you get 60 days to submit all documents to prove your education and work experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
