You had to pay a $370 fee per i539 form. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A, G, and NATO nonimmigrants do not need to pay Biometric fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>USCIS will now refund the <span class=\"il\">bio-metrics<\/span>\u00a0fees if you send it with your i539 application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you send one combined check, USCIS will reject your i539 application. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you send separate checks for Biometric and i539, they will return the biometric fee check.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the USCIS <a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/i-539\">Form I-539, Application to Extend\/Change Nonimmigrant Status<\/a> for filing extensions within the USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Form I-539 is used by <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>H4 visa holders to extend their H4 status along with their spouse and child&#8217;s H1B extension.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L1 dependents to file L2 visa extensions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/am22tech.com\/apply-visitor-visa-b1-b2-family-friend\/\">B1\/B2 Visa Visitors<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors, for certain changes and extensions of status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"uscis-new-form-i539a\">USCIS New form i539A<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>USCIS has also added a new Form I-539A, Supplemental Information for Application to Extend\/Change Nonimmigrant Status to replace <strong>Supplement A<\/strong> provided in previous versions of Form I-539.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Form I-539A can only be submitted with Form I-539.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I-539A Needed for Each Child-Parent Can Sign<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every co-applicant included on the primary applicant\u2019s Form I-539 must submit and sign a separate Form I-539A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parents or guardians may sign on behalf of children under 14 or any co-applicant who is not mentally competent to sign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<span><span class=\"btn btn-sm bg-light mx-1 mb-3\"title=\"Comments\"am22wpDComments-parent= \"\"  role=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"offcanvas\" data-bs-target=\"#offcanvasBottom\" aria-controls=\"offcanvasBottom\" ><i class=\"bi bi-chat me-1 text-info\"><\/i><span am22wpDComments-url=\"https:\/\/www.am22tech.com\/uscis-biometric-fees-for-i539\/\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t<\/span><div class=\"offcanvas offcanvas-bottom mx-auto h-75 rounded-top rounded-3 wpDiscourseOffCanvasWidth\" \r\n\t\t\ttabindex=\"-1\" style=\"overflow: auto !important\" \r\n\t\t\tid=\"offcanvasBottom\">\r\n\t\t\t<iframe width=\"100%\" height=\"950px\" scrolling=\"yes\" am22wpDCommentsOffcanvas-src=\"https:\/\/apps.am22tech.com\/wpdiscourse\/?embed=true&url=https:\/\/www.am22tech.com\/uscis-biometric-fees-for-i539\/\" id=\"iFrameResizer0\"  src=\"\"  style=\"overflow: hidden;\"><\/iframe><\/div><span class=\"btn btn-sm bg-light mx-1 mb-3\"title=\"Likes\"am22wpDLikes-parent= \"\" ><i class=\"bi bi-heart me-1 text-info\"><\/i><span am22wpDLikes-url=\"https:\/\/www.am22tech.com\/uscis-biometric-fees-for-i539\/\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t<\/span><\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>USCIS biometrics are not required for i-539 starting 1 Oct 2023.
